This customer came to us looking for a gas cooling system to put in place for emergency shutdown procedures at their oil refinery. They were seeking to upgrade their systems to manage risk within the refinery.
Our Engineering team provided a water injection system that used the evaporating cooling technique where spraying fine mists of water removed heat from the air as the water evaporated – thereby cooling the gas.
